Approach

The Mosaic Project is the only non-profit  that provides immersive, experiential-education programs addressing issues of diversity, empathy, and conflict resolution to:

  • children from different backgrounds in their most formative years.
  • young adults building leadership skills.
  • educators invested in constructing inclusive school communities.
  • companies and organizations seeking to create an inclusive work environment.

Unlike other interventions, The Mosaic Project focuses on prevention by addressing social-emotional issues within the context of larger systems that perpetuate inequality (such as segregation, prejudice, and discrimination) while providing participants with a profound, personal experience.

The Mosaic Project’s intentionally diverse staff allows participants to experience a powerful team from various backgrounds so they can see themselves in these leaders.
