It’s our 10th Birthday! Save the Dates!
Dear Friend of Mosaic,
Mosaic’s 10th Birthday is quickly approaching! Happy birthday to us and a more peaceful world to all!
We have already planned our party and made our Birthday wish; we wish to raise $100,000 by June 20th, our actual birthday. These are difficult economic times and neither foundations nor schools are able to support our work as they have in the past. Yet, if this wish comes true, we can avoid having to cut programs and staff.
We got a great start at our Annual Community Fundraising Brunch where over 500 guests affirmed their commitment to peace and together contributed almost $70,000. Please join them if you haven't already and help make our wish come true! Donate online and help us to raise $30,000 more! Every little bit counts. All of the individual donations add up and have kept us going in these challenging times. We are also inviting you to join us for our Weekend Birthday Celebration, June 26-27! First, we will have a 10th Birthday Mosaic Community Reunion on Saturday, June 26th, 12-4 pm in Snow Park, Oakland. Bring your whole family and join us for Mosaic games, fun, food, and of course, music! Please save the date and RSVP so we can plan a fabulous day!

You can also help us spread the word about our birthday wish and events! The more people we bring into our community, the more peacemakers our community can send out into the world. Our country has invested countless dollars in non-peaceful pursuits. It’s up to us to invest in peace, especially in these challenging times.
You'll hear from us again as our birthday approaches with more event details and an update on how we’re doing in reaching our $100,000 goal. With your help, we will continue our important work of uniting children from diverse backgrounds, showing them that peace is possible, and giving them the tools to create it. We will continue to touch the lives of thousands of young people for the next decade and beyond. Thank you once again for your support. We look forward to celebrating with you!
