Brett Dennen singer/songwriter and rising star, was the creator of The Mosaic Project's musical curriculum,our first ever Resident Rock Star, and our original Mosaic "Chill Out Dude" (positive disciplinarian). Brett was instrumental in creating Mosaic’s programs. Until his music career took off in 2006, Brett didn't miss a single Mosaic outdoor school session. He now comes to the Mosaic woods whenever he is able and serves on the Board of Directors. Brett's commitment to The Mosaic Project has been consistently demonstrated and was mostly recently documented in Yes! Magazine.
He's also has been invited to play on Dave Matthews' Music Cruise, and to tour or play on bills with John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Shawn Colvin, ALO, Jackson Brown, Taj Mahal, Ziggy Marley, Xavier Rudd, Corinne Bailey Rae and others. He has made appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Show with David Letterman. He has released three CDs (in addition to the Mosaic CD, which was the first CD he recorded) and spends most of his time touring these days. We are very lucky to have him to help us celebrate Mosaic's 10th birthday!
