Kids’ Protest Poster Making Virtual Hands-on Workshop
Learn about protests, explore other ways to take action and then make protest posters with Mosaic teaching staff and guest artists.
Friday, June 12
4:00 – 5:00 PM PDT
This is a free event.
In this moment of growing awareness and activism, there are many ways for kids to raise their voices against injustice. Even if they are not able to attend a protest, kids can take creative social action and express themselves by making posters to hang in windows, mail to friends or family, and more.
Join the teaching staff of The Mosaic Project and special guests Eunice and Sabrina Moyle, authors of Be the Change: The Future is in Your Hands, for a hands-on virtual workshop. We will learn about protests and explore other ways to take action. We will share what’s on our minds and in our hearts right now, and what we might want to express on posters. And then we’ll get to work and make them together!
Recommended for children ages 3 – 12.
Download printable color pages or make your own from scratch. Link to download as well as the Zoom link will be provided upon registering.
Suggested supplies:
– Copy paper, poster paper, or cardboard
– Markers, sharpies, highlighters or paint and brushes
